We firmly believe there is no better place to be during the holidays than in Kansas City. From the Plaza, to ice skating in Crown Center, to the variety of community festivals, watching the Chiefs finish their season (and hopefully continuing onto the post season!), and the hundreds of community and school concerts.
We love Kansas City and the town seems to come even more alive during the holidays. We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
It is also a time to count our blessings and look forward to a new year. As an organization, we try to greet every day being grateful for the opportunity to serve so many Kansas and Misso uri homeowners and businesses, all throughout the metro area. We work the most modest homes to the most glamorous, with young families to old, and from every race and religion. Serving the Kansas City community is a true blessing.
To those who have trusted us with their homes, we want to extend a special “thank you.” We send the most positive wishes for a happy holiday season. We also have an opportunity throughout the year to work with dozens of vendors, and most importantly, the 25 employees who make Foundation 1 what it is. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to share our work lives with all of you.
Optimism is another part of the holiday season. A time to reflect on paths walked, challenges faced, and “things to do” completed in the past year, to the hopes, dreams, and goals for the upcoming year. We are proud of the company we have become and the progress made in 2017. However, we can also see ways to improve and better ourselves, and our company in 2018. We are excited to take on those growth opportunities.
As important as our work goals, we also take this time to remember “the reason for the season”. Embracing our spirit and faith helps mold us as the people that we are, and that we aspire to be.
Thank you for reading – and for everything you have contributed to our organization. We wish you the happiest holiday , merriest Christmas, and happiest New Year!
